Our founder, Jerry Hooper had a mission: to

 preserve the integrity of history by restoring the

buildings representing that history. And so, in 1974,

Midstate Contractors, Inc. was created to fulfill this

mission. Several decades later, we still take pride in

the tangible beauty of structures that represent people

and the time in which they lived. The job is a

meticulous one. Often we need to use the original

methods and tools of past artisans and craftsmen.

Sometimes we create new ways to preserve history

through skilled technology. And always we map out our
task through careful research and attention to details.
